Born Annoying is a solo sketch comedy show by aging comedy performer Todd Pierce. The show is set to return for Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2026, after a successful run at the Melbourne Fringe 2025
One by one a diverse cast of annoying characters grapple with their personal destinies, as they stumble from grace into unforeseen circumstances. Annoyingly funny and sometimes poignant, with lots of hats. We’re talking fedoras, top hats, tam-o-shanters – literally all three types of hat.
Todd leverages his love of character, storytelling, annoying facts and various other dubious talents to create a show that is equal parts funny, annoying and touching. In this context “touching” means poignant. There is no actual touching in the show.
